You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.(Matthew 5:14-16)

The Woman of God who is an entrepreneur has no time to dilly dally in the ways of the world. Yet, in so many ways she does.

• When you are more concerned with money over service…you are dilly dallying!
• When you leave out the truth about loving your neighbor and treat your customers as if the only thing that matters is their money….you are dilly dallying!
• When you are walking outside of the purpose of your vocational call…you are dilly dallying!
• When you ascribe to lies about the universe blessing you and the law of attraction…you are dilly dallying!
• When you take control instead of giving God the reigns in your business…you are dilly dallying!

It is time out for hiding behind whatever you are hiding behind and not letting folks know who you and whose you are. Am I saying to be a Bible toting, scripture quoting, I know the word better than you Pharisee or Sadducee?

NO WAY!

What I am saying is this. We are called to stand out from the rest. To be the very best in all we do in word and deed. We are called to be the example of how to truly live the abundant life here on earth. In order to be the light you must walk the obedient walk, rise above the ways and mess of a depraved world, and stand boldly in a place of love and service to God first and then others; especially in the market place.

If your deeds do not match your Christ, then you need to check yourself before you tear your very life apart.

As women of God in business, our lights  should so shine that there si no mistaken where it comes from. Your scene should say ” Ahhh…yeah….that’s Christ”; and your walk need to say that you seek Him first and foremost; full of hope for the evidence not seen.

Your light on that hill needs to shine in the area of business you work in and beyond. There no time for dilly dallying!
